Collections Management:
The Museum lacked policy when it came to their collections. I authored a Collections Management Policy for them.
I also began to write a grant for the museum. There were extraneous issues that prevented us from moving forward with the grant, so it was never completed for submission. I've attached this first draft of the grant.
Doll Rehousing Project
The museum has an excellent and unique collection of hand made dolls. Students at the school made these dolls, but they were not stored properly. I organized a group of fellow graduate students to rehouse the collection. I:
-
Coordinated with the museum and students
-
Calculated what supplies would be needed so the museum could purchase them
-
Sorted the dolls into pairs
-
Worked alongside fellow students to create the boxes and place the dolls in them
